Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world (based on volume) is a major highlight for anyone visiting Southern Africa. From sedate sunset cruises on the Zambezi River to white water rafting in the gorge below the Falls, there is something for all ages and interests. We recommend spending 2 or 3 nights here (depending on the time of year) to give you enough time to see the Falls, explore the area and take part in some of the activities.
The Southern Kafue intersperses wide, expansive plains with stunning miombo woodlands and dambos and is home to impressive numbers of lion, cheetah and a variety of antelope, most notable sable, roan, reedbuck and eland.
Accommodation is magnificently situated in the riparian woodland on the banks of the Kafue River with stunning views overlooking the river.
